Theatre etiquette is extremely important for ensuring everyone in the auditorium has a pleasant experience. Many people in the theatre invest a great deal of time and money into creating a fabulous theatregoing experience. These tips are important to go over with your dancer before the day of our show.
Backstage etiquite
-
No food or drink to be backstage. No drink bottles.
-
Dressing room noise must be kept to a minimum. If you are side stage waiting to go on stage you must be SILENT as noise travels onstage.
-
Everything should be named. Dressing gowns should be named so we can easily return them to their owner.
-
No devices, charging chords or smartwatches are permitted back stage.
Audience Ettiquite
-
Courtesy is contagious. If we, as parents, practice empathy then so will our children.
-
No flash photography or videography. We have invested into a professional videographer this year who will ensure we have good quality footage.
-
Do not sit or block the isles as this is a fire hazard.
-
Kindness is contagious. We are all there to celebrate our dances hard work so lets all enjoy the day!
